HIGH TEMPERATURE BOX OVEN

Designed, built, delivered, installed and commissioned by Caltherm, this box oven is 4m x 4m x 4m (internal dimensions) operating up to 550°C.  The oven is used to cure high performance coatings onto large marine components subject to extreme weather conditions. 

Two pneumatic sliding doors give the operators easy and swift access to the product, minimising heat loss.  Twin fans and burners give high volume air for accurate temperature control throughout the working chamber.  With ceramic fibre insulation the external skin remains cool to touch at all temperatures.

• Designed to expand and contract without internal or external skin buckling
