Built for the international metal finishing group Bodycote, this a flatbed dryer designed for a 'jobbing' plating shop that can
take on any work to fit the plant.
The
dryer has an air knife at the load-end blowing off excess water. The dryer
operates at 60°C, with a very high volume, air re-circulation fan. With two
in-line conveyors within the dryer, the product 'tumbles' half way through the
dryer. This helps ensure water trapped where product lies together is dispersed
and dried.
Direct
gas fired via a fully modulating control valve and with a variable speed
conveyor, the dryer is flexible, reliable and operates independently.
Flatbed dryers can be built for all heating media
including direct and indirect gas fired, electric, propane, steam, thermal fluid
or oil. All are finished with stainless steel internal skins and plastic coated
external skin. |
