HIGH TEMPERATURE PRE-HEAT OVENS

FOR PLASTIC COATING

Boyco Manufacturing produces a variety of educational and local authority plastic-coated furniture, playground equipment and similar items under contract. Mild steel frames, legs and so on have to be coated in a robust, safe and attractive finish.

After thorough cleaning the metal components are pre-heated to 350°C in one of three gas fired Caltherm ovens. The items are then dipped into fluidised beds of plastic powder to give a durable finish.

Direct gas fired for fuel efficiency
Double doors on larger ovens to reduce heat loss when coating small products.
Time clocks and auto-ignition ensures ovens are ready for start of shift
Temperature uniformity throughout oven compartments ensures consistent coating quality

High temperature ovens for pre-heating components prior to dipping in fluidised powder bed
