Birmingham Plating are one of the largest electroplaters in the UK, based in the West Midlands.  Having moved to new premises recently with their existing production lines, the old, slow dryers proved to be a bottleneck in the process as production increased, as well as having become severely corroded.  The final stage in the electroplating is very wet, so speedy drying of the completed product facilitates all the preceding production processes. 

Birmingham Plating set about replacing the old dryers with new high-efficiency units from Caltherm.  This is the fourth Caltherm oven to have been supplied in replacement as the previous ones fail through corrosion and unreliability.
