After extensive trials at
Caltherm, filter media heating
and cooling characteristics were accurately documented. Using this
information, Caltherm designed a tailor-made solution.
The flat bed oven
uses a conveyor feed system to progress the product through various
compartments. The gas-fired oven has a pre-heat section that rapidly brings the
product to temperature, which then passes through the curing process chamber,
followed by a high volume air cooler which uses outside air to bring the product
down to handling temperature.
Critical to Parker is
the fact that the oven does not leak fumes into the workplace, that temperature
control within the oven gives accuracy to within +/- 3°C, and product emerges
cool for immediate handling.
Caltherm delivered, installed and commissioned the
equipment at Parker's premises in Dewsbury, UK. |
