The furnace remains
cool on the outside when the furnace is at 1200ºC, with
minimum heat transfer due to the highly efficient design and insulation,
for energy efficiency and operator safety.
The furnace operates
at better than +/- 3ºC.
Operating at 1200ºC,
this furnace is loaded with a proprietary manual fork truck modified by
Caltherm to include a heat shield and viewing window in the heat
shield. Caltherm also supplied the product jigs manufactured from
Inconel, a proprietary high temperature alloy.
The guides at the
bottom front of the furnace ensure the operator loads the furnace
without damaging the lining. |
