INDUSTRY SPECIFIC DESIGN SOLUTIONS FROM CALTHERM

Nearly 30 years of experience dedicated to industrial heating processes has given Caltherm a unique insight into many different industries production issues. With both temperature and humidity controlled, this oven is also designed to operate in clean room conditions, where it is used to cure the finished product in the manufacture of heart Pacemakers. Manufacturing data is recorded on a paperless system. Caltherm was selected to meet this system party because of our willingness to adapt our design to meet the clients specific needs. This is the fourth oven of this type that we have manufactured.

A massive £million plant was commissioned after a pilot plant proved successful - the full system incorporated seven pre-heat modules, five curing ovens and six coolers all linked on a robotic conveyor system and controlled by PLC.

	Combining Caltherm's industry experience with the clients knowledge of their own processes, we designed an oven to achieve consistent results with vacuum-formed acrylic sheets. Caltherm has now supplied several ovens as the client's manufacturing output has increased, building upon their success.

High quality pistons for supplied for modern vehicle engines use the latest screen-printed surface coatings, applied in exact locations and amounts. This custom designed conveyor incorporates a highly accurate and specific four-part process that utilises both infra red and re-circulating air systems.
