Cytec Industries Inc. is a global chemicals and
materials company focused on developing, manufacturing and selling
value-added products. Their products serve aerospace, adhesive, automotive
and industrial coatings, chemical intermediates, inks, mining and plastics.
Cytec are a regular customer for Caltherm - This is
their third oven from Caltherm in less than two years. Drum warming
ovens are used to pre heat raw materials to reduce the viscosity, making
them easier for operators to dispense. |

Non-Destructive Testing
Wyman Gordon is the global leader in the design,
manufacture, assembly, and integration of complex metal components, from
medical implants to the world's largest aerospace and power generation
products. Wyman Gordon have the best people and most technically advanced
equipment and machinery in the world.
Wyman Gordon recognise the need to invest to stay ahead
and operate responsibly. They are replacing their Trichloroethane
cleaning process with a water based solution. This needs post-cleaning
drying so, Wyman Gordon have ordered four top loading and a slotted top
dryer for use in their Livingstone, Scotland plant. |

March 2008 - Manual Plating Line Top Loading Dryer
Electrochemical Supplies, set up in 1994, design,
manufacture and install plant for Metal Finishing. Based in Aylesbury,
UK, most of the companies products are manufactured in house.
Caltherm have a long relationship with
Electrochemical. They have ordered a top loading (or well) dryer for
drying jigged components on a manual plating line. |

March 2008 - Hardwood Heat Treatment Oven
Coed Cymru is an all Wales initiative to promote the
management of broadleaf woodlands and the use of locally grown hardwood
timber in Wales. Coed Cymru's role is to provide help and advice for
managing and improving woodlands. This includes the production of timber
(mainly hardwood) and adding value. Heat treatment is way of
adding value.
This is Caltherm's third order for a wood heat
treatment oven, our second with Coed Cymru. The first oven was a pilot plant
to prove the process (read
about the development). This oven is a process oven to produce improved
hardwoods commercially in Wales. |

2008 - Aerospace Component NDT
Drying
HydraPower dynamics have a team of highly trained
engineers with many years experience in all areas of surface coating, from
Electrophoretic and Autophoretic immersion water based paint, 2k paint
systems, manual and automatic powder plants. They have full Catia 4 and 5
and total commitment to clients.
Caltherm, working closely with Hydrapower and their
customer Wyman Gordon, have received an order for a top loading and conveyor
dryer for drying components on a turbine engine component plant. |

March 2008 - Casting Mould Preheat and Firing Furnaces.
MTS Germany is a newly built facility for the
manufacture and finishing of castings for industrial applications.
This order supplements
the order placed last month (below) and emphasises the confidence MTS have
in Caltherm. This is for a 1250OC Mould Firing Furnace with
a motor driven hearth. Alongside we will design and build two 1250OC
Mould Preheat Furnaces for use in the mould process area of their new
facility. |

March 2008 - Fluoropolymer Coating Curing Oven
AFT has been machining and fabricating components
from PTFE and other Fluoropolymer materials for over 25 years. With
extensive experience in producing precision components in all Fluoroplastic
materials. AFT are dedicated to providing engineering solutions in
Fluoropolymer materials.
This is AFT's second order with Caltherm for a small
400OC Curing Box Oven. |

2008 - Aerospace Glass Heat Treatment Oven
GKN Aerospace Transparency Systems possesses expertise
in high tech transparency design processes. A leading manufacturer of
cockpit and cabin windows for a broad range of business, commercial,
regional, and military aircraft.
GKN Aerospace are a regular customer for Caltherm.
This order for their Kings Norton facility, UK is for a 550OC
batch oven for the heat treatment of aerospace windows. |

2008 - Casting Core Drying and Firing Furnace Combination - Germany
MTS Germany is a newly built facility for the
manufacture and finishing of castings for industrial applications.
MTS have ordered a combined 400OC Core Drying Oven and
1250OC Firing Furnace and
associated automatic product loading and unloading. The complete
system will be designed, built and witness tested in our works before
delivery and installation in Germany during the summer. |

3 December 2007 - Process Pipe Work Heating Ovens - UK
Pilkington makes glass and glazing products
for the world's buildings and vehicles and is founded on technological
innovation in Flat Glass. Throughout its history, Pilkington has been the
technology leader. They intend to continue to lead the industry. Their role
as a company is to invest in sustaining this technology and to use it to
create value for shareholders.
Pilkington have ordered further copies of steam heated process
ovens previously supplied by Caltherm last year. Caltherm are a
regular supplier to Pilkington, they order repeat plants and new designs
confident in the quality and functionality of Caltherm's engineering. |

November 2007 - Temperature and Humidity Controlled Conveyor Oven
Caltherm are a regular supplier to Contax in the UK
and Ireland. Caltherm work closely with Contax allowing them to offer
their customers detailed integrated solutions in the electronics and medical
device manufacturing industries.
Contax's customer Boston Scientific have 29,000 employees and 26
manufacturing, distribution and technology centres making them the
world’s largest medical device manufacturer.
This order is for the ninth conveyor oven with
temperature and humidity control used for the final cure of pacemakers and
defibrillators. These curing ovens have replaced a batch process that was
fraught with quality issues, relying too much on the concentration and
attention of operators. |

Component Solutionising & Precipitation (Ageing) Oven
Goodrich Aero Structure Service
Centre Europe is a 120,000 sq ft, JAA & FAA-certified maintenance, repair
and overhaul station in Prestwick, Scotland. With 104 Goodrich
employees the facility is equipped to support nacelles, thrust reversers,
QEC/EBU parts and airframe components. Established in October 1996,
they offer MRO services for airlines, aircraft maintenance companies, and
engine overhaul agencies in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the former
Soviet Union.
Goodrich have ordered a heat
treatment oven to improve productivity and compliance with AMS2750D at their
Prestwick facility. With a fast operating, vertical door the oven will
allow products to be dipped in the quench tank within 5sec of the door
starting to open. |

Oven, Curing Oven and Cooler
For over forty years Plastic Mouldings have provided
solutions for automotive, material handling, mobility, construction,
packaging, entertainment and point of sale markets. Plastic Mouldings
specialise in custom made plastic moulded components and assemblies for low
and medium volume applications.
Plastic Mouldings have ordered a gas-fired mould
preheating oven, mould lift and lower frames, curing oven and water spray
cooler. The system will have two parallel, independent conveyors
through each section. Caltherm will design and build a complete solution
that the customer will witness operating in our works, in Staffordshire
before delivery, installation and commissioning in Irvine, Scotland |
